They are three sisters: Madeleine, known as Milou, Denise and Simone. They will live a happy childhood in Nice before the Second World War breaks their happiness.
Based on unpublished correspondence and family diaries, the film recounts the tragic fate of the Jacob sisters, the intimate experience of the hell in the camps and life after.
