Résumé
Through never-before-used interviews and other rediscovered correspondence, this film offers an intimate, first-person portrait of filmmaker François Truffaut, revealing a man far more complex than he appears, deeply marked by the hardships of his childhood and who retained a lifelong sense of violence, a man who chose cinema as his family and never stopped wanting to be loved, recognized and accepted, similar to his mirror character Antoine Doinel’s desire to enter families.
